Capt.,
I have been patiently awaiting those cars from Atlanta, but they have not arrived. I wrote not long since and recd. no response. I am having quite an easy time, good boarding &c. I would be pleased to send you some lumber as Very & Sturgis have an assortment. If you will send a bill of the cars by the Conductor they will be very sure to come. Please write soon and let me know whether any cars have been started for this point. Paper is not very easily gotten here, please send some Government paper and envelopes and I will report to you by letter as often as you may require.
I am Capt. Yr. Obt. Svt.
