| Mr. Hull
{Superintendent, Atlanta & West Point RR} says he will have 5 Box
Cars left at Lagrange on Monday coming to be attached to the up Freight
Train on Tuesday morning. I will send an agent on Sunday. You can have
the negroes appraised on Monday at the same time the descriptive lists
are made out, and the hands can occupy the box cars during the night. In
selecting overseers it will be well to have them understand that they
will be subject to Military rule. Please ask Judge Bull to act as
appraiser on the part of the Govt. |
