State Guard, are detailed for duty in the Engineer Department and will
report to Capt. L. P. Grant Engr. Atlanta for duty. |

| In obedience to the above special order, I
require you to report to me at Atlanta on Monday the 23d inst. in
default wherein of Maj. Genl. Cobb has made it my duty to report the
default to him, when the necessary steps will be taken to enforce the
order. |
| You are also required to deliver back the
negroes whom you have caused to leave the work of Defenses in my charge. |
