   I give you below copy of letter sent Mr. G. G. Hull Supt:

Dear Sir,
   The Post Boy {locomotive} left here on 21 and the Stovall {locomotive} on 23rd. We also sent 14 Box Cars, one of these belonged to Muscogee RR, another to Macon {& Western} RR, leaving 10 A&WP 2 GRR {Georgia RR}. We have on this road 10 A&WP Box Cars in good order, One A&WP Coal Car, five A&WP & GRR flat Cars, 2 W&A {Western & Atlantic} flat Cars & one CRR {Central (of Georgia)} flat. Making total of 19 Cars.
Our total receipt on a/c from frt since Sept 7 7481 --
On a/c Tickets 5952.40
Making total on a/c Private $13433.40
Government frt & Soldiers not included in above which Auth was forwarded to WP Orme {Treasurer} at sundrie times. We are trying to affect an arrangement with DH Crame {Superintendent, Montgomery & West Point RR} to receive Cotton from us. There is between 8 & 10,000 Bales to be Shiped over this road. Mr Guime is using the lumber train on the wood, & we are only running the West Point to Newnan & back daily {94 miles round trip} which has paid about $5,000 on private a/c this month. When the engines were all ordered around here we bought 4 Bbls Oil for Engines Such as the M&WP RR were using at 19 pr Gal. We can send you if needed 2 Bbls by Express or freight. There is still a force this side of Atlanta & Soldiers & Supplies going forward daily.
