1863
Giles was leased from Central Southern Railroad. Thomas Shepard, General Loving and A. Woodruff leased from the Memphis & Ohio RR in October.

1862 - 1865

Two locomotives from the Alabama & Florida (of Florida) were purchased from the Confederate government. One was the Javelin, purchased in December 1863 and the Industry in June 1864

1865

Giles was turned over to Quartermaster at Meridian by an Engineer officer.
